The Mission of our Sisterhood

The Women of Congregation Dor Tamid's primary function is to support the synagogue through support of Judiasm, community service, friendship and fundraising.

We are happy to announce our affiliation with

Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ)

CDT Sisterhood will be connected with more than 65,000 women in 500 Sisterhoods in North America and throughout the world, allowing us to share goals and advocacy on critical issues to fulfill the spiritual mandate of Tikkunolam.

The Sisterhood of Dor Tamid serves our congregation in friendship and service.  The Sisterhood is a tradition that has encompassed many aspects of Jewish Life.  Our group brings the women of Dor Tamid together outside of the many roles that women play each day.  We plan events that allow us to meet new friends and reconnect with our old friends.   Our goal is to provide activities that will interest women of all ages and stages in their lives.

Attention College Students!
If you are rushing a sorority and would like a recommendation, please let us know. Our members belong to several different sororities and would be happy to write a recommendation letter. Email sisterhood@dortamid.com with your contact information and the sorority you are interested in joining.
